Most recently, I served as Human Resources Director in local government, and have spent over 6+ years in hospitals and healthcare consulting before and after becoming a doula. I managed recruitment and staffing for nursing and physician services in hospitals in Georgia and in Washington DC area hospitals. This work ignited my passion in eliminating health disparities and providing maternal support and education to minorities to improve delivery outcomes. Currently, I am pursuing her degree in nursing with plans to complete Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) and become a Certified Nurse Midwife.
